If you have been on Twitter even for a short while, you will start to see some tweets begin with a hash mark (#). These are threads and you can join in.
There are some ongoing conversations that have evolved into Twitter traditions or institutions. One of these is #Follow Friday. On #FollowFriday, you get to suggest people to follow on Twitter.
